Out Of Control!!
No, the initial fault is still resident in the chip memory, therefore to erase the fault with out a factory or equal tool, you will have to remove the chip and replace with new one, then take the old data, less the fault, off the old chip and write to the new chip!!

....then download the Torque Pro app to your phone for $4.95. You can do lots of stuff with it, including clearing CEL's and erasing trouble codes.

Have you cleared any other codes and CEL's with it before? It's possible that the app is not reading your car and needs to be set up properly with your phone. You need to read and clear the codes from the key position just before engine start....with all of the idiot lights on. Also make sure you have a proper Bluetooth connection and that your phone isn't connected to anything else.
If you're doing it properly and the codes don't go away, then there may still be an issue with the ABS and ESP.
I know that there are some codes that can only be read with STAR. If the Torque app connects properly and you're doing it properly....and still cannot clear the codes, then you'll have to find somebody with STAR to check it out.
