Ok so today I took delivery of my s550 and i smell gas. My 1st thought - I didn't smell jack on test drive and I test drove the stu out of it. I did have to leave it for them to fix the navi/radio not turning off issue. Could they have screwed something up? What gives with the smell? The dealer said it maybe a recall similar to what he heard happen with the c class and he would get it fixed. Any idea of what it could be? Thanks

could have something to do with the charcoal canister. I'm sure the dealer will figure it out

What is the charcoal canister, is that what i found under the left passenger back seat it looked to be wet with GAS.

the fuel pump is under the back seat on the passenger side. if you found fuel there, then there's a leak somewhere
