Tyre pressure **** up take note
Got my car back from the dealership as I wanted to get a shimmy sorted by tracking and balancing the wheels. They told me that 2 of my wheels could not be balanced accurately because they may have been damaged by a pot hole and were out of true. When I got the car back the steering wheel wasnt straight and it was pulling to the left. I told the dealership and they said they hadn't changed anything because the wheels were damaged. I couldn't work it out. Why did this happen? The reason it happened is because the tyre fitter put the back wheel on the off side on the front and the front wheel on the on the offside on the back. There was a difference in tyre press of around 5lb on my two front tyres. As you know the rear tyres are meant to have more pressure than the front. He didnt check the tyre pressure. Grrrrrrrrrrrr:

Rears have more pressure only if vehicle is to be fully loaded.l (5 people and two 20kg suitcases) For normal operation all four tires should have same pressure. Running full load pressure in the back will result in worn out centers on tires.
