When to trade and why?

2019 S63 4Matic+, 2018 E400 Cabrio, wardens car.
I have the same car with a warranty for 2 more years. I will probably trade for a 3 year old 222 with extended warranty again once my warranty is close to up. Great cars but I just cannot drive one out of warranty.

Thanks. That really simplified the issue. If I could keep getting extended warranty, I would drive this thing for ever. Fantastic road car.

You trade after the car breaks down and you thought "this problem was too much $$$ to repair".
In other words- when a vehicle stops delivering on the price/ satisfaction ratio- time for a change. I can think of few other items that should fall under that simplified rule

why? New body has really grown on me.... Id def do a w222 cpo. Im at 45k miles and another 1.5 year on the cpo warty. If I dont go back to Bmw a w222 is def on the radar for me.
