2006 W221 S500L ME 9.7 - Motor Electronics 9.7

Hi All,

I've just bought a 2006 W221 S500L, and sent to local MB Dealer to have a quick test. There are some problems that are waiting MB's check and advice. I would like to get your advice and/or experience of initial solution for followings:
1. ME 9.7 - Motor Electronics 9.7 (F): Code 0745 (Self-adaptation of mixture formation for enrichment at idle for right cyclinder bank is above the permissible limit (P0171). Code 0810 (Malfunction of secondary air injection at right bank of cylinders (function chain) (P0410). And Code 0814 (Malfunction of secondary air injection at left bank of cylinders (function chain) (P0410). Pls advice the initial solution.
2. ABR-Adaptive Brake (F): Code 5102 (L6/1 - left front speed sensor): carry out visual inspection): pls advice where is left front speed sensor?
3. Electronic Packing Brake (F): Code 6100 (test voltage supply of circuit 87). Pls advice the initial solution, I've just change the main battery.
4. AIRmatic (F): Code 5061 (Check component B24/4 - right front body acceleration sensor). Pls advice where is "component B24/4 - right front body acceleration sensor"?
5. TPC - Tire Pressure Monitor (i): Event 9130 (No wheel sensor detected). I've checked and found that there is no any wheel sensor, pls advice if I can buy such sensors and how to set such installed sensors?
It is first time for me to join and post in this forum, and my English is so bad. I am highly appreciated to receive all your advice and comments. Thank you in advance!

1-test R bank 02 sensor
2-remove LF wheel and look for toothed ring
5-you have 4 wheel speed sensors---look again or have your son look

1. delete codes and see if they re-appear. if they do your air injection pump is not working as expected.
2. left front speed sensor is in the driver side (assuming not in uk and other likewise countries) wheel hub. it is a hall element that is activated by a reluctor ring in the bearing.
3. if parking brake is working leave alone
4. right front accelerator sensor is bad. self explanatory
5. somebody removed the sensors or installed wheels with no sensors. tpm can be coded out of the car so it doesnt throw errors. or you can get sensors. you need the correct sensors for your car- they are not all the same as they work on different frequencies depending on model.
