Just got Eurocharged M278 Tune

So I just got back my Eurocharged tune for my 12' S550 w/M278. Wow, totally transformed the car, it's a rocket now! Fast as my AMG if not faster, I still have to drive it a bit more. So far just went to work.

I definitely think its worth every penny to me, but then again, I Love extra power. Not like I'm gonna be drag racing this thing, but it just passes so freaking effortlessly now. Have to see how mileage changes now too.

If I can find a cheap local place, I may throw it on the dyno and get some numbers.

Thanks again Eurocharged! Sent it on Monday, got it back yesterday.

Would have been best to do before and after dyno runs to see what the real HP numbers are.

Well, yes, that would be ideal, but I don't care THAT much what actual gains are. I know and trust Eurocharged as I've had their tune for years as well as 3 dyno tuning days each time they came to the bay area.

If I get Dyno results its mostly to share with the forum, I'm extremely happy already.

2014 E63S; AMS 100 octane ecu tune; edok tcu tune; BB intakes; dyno tuned
If your butt dyno likes it that's what matters

some people have gotten tuned and lost power or gained no power because the ecu pulled timing etc, that's prolly what Dave was implying

Actually, I was not implying that at all. I think it would be good to see real world before and after results and not just rely on the results that the tuner puts on their website. I'm sure Eurocharged gave him decent gains, but we'd all benefit to see how much.

There's only one person I know of on this board (WHPH28) who had his bi-turbo S600 tuned by a different company (Logic Lab....who is now banned) and got zero gains.

I think the worst offenders of publishing completely made up bullsh*t HP gain numbers to sell their products are the CAI and high-flow filter companies. Most of those have a zero or negative net gain compared to stock, yet many publish gains of over 30 HP on NA motors. LOL!!!
