If car still has original rims look at the markings. If the rims say amg anywhere (usually on the spoke or lip) you have an amg package. Post vin to confirm.

It's not an AMG car. It's either a base car or a base car with the optional "AMG Sport Appearance Package". That package consists of a different front and rear bumper, rocker panels, and staggered 19" or 20" wheels on RWD cars (square on 4Matics).

No mechanical parts are affected by the AMG Sport Package, just cosmetics. "Real" AMG cars have a two digit model designation, S63 or S65.
