Old but great!

Someone is remotely opening my trunk, when in traffic and when the engine is turned off as well. I know who it is. He is an utter a-hole techno geek. How do I put an end to this?

Dealer may be able to disable the remote. Bring all of your key fobs to a dealer and ask if they can reprogram your vehicle to ONLY recognize yours.

There's a simple fix. If you open your trunk and lift up the carpet you'll see a small tray in the spare tire well containing a combination lug wrench/jack handle instrument. Carefully remove the instrument by releasing the security latch, then use it to beat the living crap out of that a-hole.
