Look at range and pick middle. Experiment a bit. You will have limited success with the 550 as any meaningful drop is out of bounds and will not save. But do try.

i think you are thinking of level signals, i need the inclination angle values that i need to input into das/star for both left/right front/rear 11th pic down from 1st post. looking for an inch if possible.

I'm curious. Does your friend have ABC or Airmatic?

I've been looking at lowering/raising my 2007 S600 because of a tire issue and have been led to believe Airmatic is easy with STAR, but not so with ABC....

I'll be asking again once I get the new rear tires mounted, but would like to hear any thoughts on the issue...

Regards... Mark

This is not how it works. You lower manually your car to where you want it and try to save the configuration by adjusting the inclination values so the system accepts them. The inclanation values are the real world check for the system that the car is where the system "thinks" the car is level- wise.

ABC cars are harder to lower with star as the value ranges are narrower and car gets out of bounds quickly even with small drops. There are other ways to tricks the level system to accept lower values. No, I am not going to share them as this is potentially a safety issue.

One thing you could do is code the ABC control module to an S65AMG variant, which will give a firmer ride and also drop the car slightly when parked for a more aggressive appearance, if you are into that. Make sure you have an alignment done after any adjustments.

Links (inexpensive, very easy to install, kind of a pain to calibrate) or a LoPro module (none of those things) seems like the consensus on drops.

Check out Adjustable Air Ride or Ghostlinks
