2012 E350 Cabriolet now SOLD to my son
Not sure but from the appearance those appear to be a small filter and a dessicant bed. Maybe those are aftermarket?

Only thing i can think of is to 1. remove moisture coming from the inflating pump. 2. filter the air after?

JK but prolly directly related to the water in the passenger footwell ...lol

I’ve seen these…one is the air filter prior to the pump…I believe the other is a muffler to reduce system fart noises.

mine has two but both open to atmosphere as if two times filters but they do look different to each other - where's the lighter red tube on the left run off too ? that's not on my car I thought its were the air goes in?

After closer inspection of your pics it looks like I have a break in my air hose in the exact location as your pic.

can't remember but its come off quite easily - lift the seat up on its adjustment and get a powerful torch out - does it slide off forwards - when you get it off you sit there think did they really bodge it up that badly / cheaply

wait till you try and untuck the seat cover that's some fun in situ - its just a bead sewn in the trim edge wedge in some nasty metal clips in a few places

I usually go on Ebay and look at used parts for clarity on where the tabs are and how they look. Having done this recently myself, the WIS instructions are just too fuzzy to provide full information. You may want to check ahead for part availability from MB if you need a replacement--they are down to the low single digits or zero, depending on your color.
