My first four month with 13 S550
Over all it is a very smooth ride.Powerful on the high way's.
It took me a month to learn the Comand system.The car feel's really solid.The engine just wind up the turbo's.I t's very cool feeling when you step on the gas.

I had my '12 S550 for about 6 months now and I agree with you that
it's very fast especially on the freeway for such a long and heavy car.
The ride is so smooth and luxurious that I always like being in it and driving it.

Recommendation
When on the highway switch transmission to Sport mode. Car becomes quite a bit more responsive to throttle input and also you do not need the brakes as much to keep up with small speed variations.
