Airmatic Malfunction

A few days ago, soon after starting 2010 S550, I got the message "( the car with up arrow sign) Malfunction". Airmatic DAS Scanner revealed history of:" Rising the car took too long". Recently, soon after starting the car the same error message on the dashboard. This time DAS showed the error:" Line leak". I run both times tests for Airmatic compressor and leaks between a compressor and a valve body, everything is OK. I spoke to the mechanic about it and he asked, whether the car is leveled after parking for several hours. I told him, every time I park the car and lock the doors, the car goes to sleep, opens Airmatic Valves (I can hear an air release noise next to the front right wheel), the whole car is lowered a few inches, valves closes and the car stays in that level for days. Then, when the car is started, the compressor runs for a few seconds, the car is raised, valves close and I can drive the car for hours without compressor ever running. He said, it`s weird, the computer lowers the car when the car goes to sleep, he never heard about such problem. The car not suppose to lower itself. It happens for for years. Does anybody have any idea, what can cause it?

Def should not lower itself when it's off. You could have a leak in the valve unit that lets it leak down after shutdown. Get it fixed before it burns up your compressor.

It`s interesting... I checked the Airmatic Level Calibration data and I found, the height of both front levels are out of specification. I leveled the front of the car manually and memorized the new calibration. So far the car does not seat. I wonder if anybody knows the distance from a center of wheels to fender lip?

Airmatic malfunction

My 2008 S550 gave the same message as JZAREBA, now two days later the Stop Suspension too low in red came up, I definitely know it needs repair just need to ask how long can I drive it low like that, 10, 20 miles? Or park and take it in? I don't hear the compressor any more.
