2007 S550 Radio Issue
Hello New Here and having an Issue With Command Unit i Believe.
Has No Sound, Took it to the dealer and they said it was a "Tuner amp Module "
I Then Asked The Mechanic he said the amp in the trunk.
Everything i have read points to the command unit in the dash. No Station list ect.
Anyone Have Any Ideas on this?
Thank You.

Dealer should have provided invoice with narrative and supporting fault code(s) to justify amp replacement. If/when confirmed, post or PM VIN for compatible replacement part #s, see attachment to remove left trunk panel if interested in DIY.

Although no fault codes are documented narrative clearly defines amp is malfunctioning. Pull trunk panel and visually inspect amp if all seems fine need your VIN to provide part #(s) for DIY replacement.

If you decide to replace amp and want to purchase replacement you will need part number to shop. You can shop part number listed on your amp but there are compatible part numbers that may be available to widen your search for best pricing only way I can provide these additional numbers is with your VIN - your call.

so any of those part numbers are ok to replace it with? also what do you think about sending it in to be repaired? i found several sites that do that cheaper then the 700.00 for a used amp. and do i need to have the new one coded. the service adviser said 300.00 if it needs to be coded.
