I’m interested in hearing about user experience with these on the S class. Reviews show good performance, maybe a little noisy, though. I was going to go with the Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 next because I want low road noise, comfort and longer wear life. I’m not as concerned with stickiness. I guess it depends what you’re looking for. The firehawks have a good price point!

I have just gone through my second set of sport contact 2 and I only got 15,000 miles out of the rear tires I keep my balance and alignment and check and all the research I show is the fire hawk is the best price point and highest rated tire I don’t think I’m going to have another set of continentals.

I run the Firehawks on my S65 and I have no complaints at all. They are not really noisy at all and hold pretty well. The front tires seem to be wearing just fine with
no weird wear issues. As for the rear tires no matter what that is hard to judge. I have had the TCU and ECU tuned so no matter what the power overwhelms any tire really.
So all in all I really like the Firestones and will continue using them.

Given the weight and power of these cars, 15,000 miles out of rear tires isn't that bad really. And I assume you know this, but a reminder to others that on W221s the camber can not be adjusted, so that doesn't help maximize tire life.

Yep, what he said, and there is now a plus version which is newer version that came out a year ago about. Michelin A/S3 +

I love them and it's super quiet. I went from 19's continental, to these in 20" and they're awesome! Some of the best rated for all season high performance and don't wear out fast.
