I haven't found a way to turn on the rear entertainment with the remote or through the command system.The remote has new batteries, but the light doesn't come on when I press the buttons.(A212 820 0097)
Is the remote the only way to turn the TVs on?
I can control the front screen with the video function, but don't see any options for rear entertainment control.
The rear DVD will accept a disc, but the screens do not turn on.

The remote has 3 settings (scroll button on the top) for left / right or front split screen. Make sure you select appropriate option for your screen. When I select DVD from COMAND and set it as active source for rear, it'll turn on rear screens.

My remote only has two options to scroll to, Left/Right. On the lower left DVD-V will give me DVD functions, is that where you turn them on?

On the top of remote there is a power button and light button. If you click the light button, the back light should light up. The remote should also have COMMAND option. If it does not, it may be wrong remote for your car. Has the remote ever work? Can you post a picture of it? You can turn on rear screen when you play DVD on COMAND then set it to active source for rear.

My remote looks exactly like that one, except it doesn't say Mercedes Benz at the top. Inside the battery cover it has the MB part number sticker (A212 820 0097). None of the back lights work, I think is broken and/or the wrong part number.
When I go into DVD-V functions I can set the rear active source, but rear screens do not turn on.
I checked the fuses 73, 97, 101, 111, 119, 122, 150, 152. Micro fuses were missing from 111 & 150, but when I put them in, no change.
I bought this car last year & I haven't tried to use the rear entertainment until now. I'm going to get a new remote, i just understand why they don't turn on from the command system

I bought the right remote from Ebay, and im able to turn the tvs on in the back. I can play the DVD from the front in the back. The only way ive able to turn on the rear tvs is with the remote.
