This may have been discussed before. My Command Center isn't working anymore. First up would be the fuses, but I'm unsure the location of this fuse. Research
tells me it's on the left side under the hood near the firewall. So far, all fuses are intact. I also checked the fuse panel on the passenger side on the dash. All are intact.
Any others I may be missing? Anyone else have any issues with the Command Center all of the sudden failing? Am I missing something?
Thank you,
Ed

Thank you Phil,
I replaced the starter battery 2/2017. You're telling me there is an auxiliary battery (aka consumer battery) Would you know where this
is specifically located in the truck?

Thank you so much MBS430. I had no idea it was there. I always thought there was only the one on the right side, right side of the spare tire in it's own compartment.

That's for the S430, the W220, we're in the W221 (the next generation) forum and for W221 the second battery is indeed "somewhere in the back" of the trunk. Which car do you have, the W220 or W221?

Hi all and thank you to everyone helping me through this.
I discovered I do NOT have a 2nd battery located behind the back seat, right side. I only have one battery, right side of the spare tire. I replaced the battery
February 2017. The car would not unlock this morning. Once the car and truck were opened I put a meter on the battery and measured 7 volts. I put
a battery charger on it enough to start the car. Prior to start the battery measured 14 volts. The car hesitated but finally started. After it started I put a meter
on the battery measuring 17 volts, so the alternator is working.
I currently have the charger on it at 2 amps per hour.
The Command Center still does not work.
I mentioned before I had a windshield replaced. He had to remove the rearview mirror assembly and wasn't 100% sure how to put it back together. Did he damage it?
I don't know yet.
I will let the battery charge for another hour then start it again. The battery is still under warranty. Does anyone think I should just go ahead and replace it?
Thank you,
Ed

Hi everyone, First off, thank you for all of your responses even though I was in the wrong forum.
An FYI, it turned out to be a bad battery. 11.3 volts and 250 amps from a 850 amp battery so some of you were
spot on with the battery diagnosis even though I only had one battery.
I'm sorry about posting in the wrong spot.
