I'm replacing the passenger side mirror and need help/advice on how to get the base removed. I've unhooked everything and just need to get the base/panel(?) removed and put it on the new mirror base. It's already detached from the door. I just need to get it off the mirror base unit. Tried prying it off and looked for any screws that might be holding it. Any help would be much appreciated!

I don't think it's possible without removing the base from the car.
What model/year do you have?
