Hello Guys, just bought a 2008 S550 4 matic with 123K miles.

The Radio / music on it did not work, I replaced the amp with a used one from ebay, I now have radio / music. however

Seems like the car does NOT recognize that the car is on.. after manually turning it on / off after a while tells me to turn the car on or the command unit will turn off

-> Radio / infotainment / display (whatever you call it) does not turn on automatically nor does it turn off when I turn off the car....
-> I can't change the climate temp or any function from the screen
-> I can't change the volume from the steering wheel
->Can't change Transmission setting C / S / M

CODES read using LAUNCH CRP229 code reader
-> C02F / C037 - No CAN message was received from control unit COMMAND
->9034 - No CAN message was received from control unit N93(Central Gateway control unit) Failure of CAN message 'Air Conditioning'

Also, tried to delete the codes nothing, I removed the main battery underneath the rear seat for an hour or so, also the starter battery in the hood. nothing happened

Did the new amp have the exact same partnumber as the old one?
Do you know which firmware version it has?
Has it been updated with Star?

i would offer you to check also CAN under the ventilation area under drivers seat in back , where people sitting in back put its dirty foot, there is CAN connections too, you need to check it too.
