New member here - just lurking until now. I recently acquired 2006 S500 and have been fettling it to my requirements ie wheel refurbishment, interior cleaning, bodywork issues and paint protection etc etc.
Car has 19'' AMG wheels fitted with brand-new Kumho tyres. Call me an insufferable snob - I probably am - but I'm just uncomfortable with them. Anyone have views on ideal tyres for this model??
Yes, Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+. On my 2nd set, got 43k miles on the first set. Smooth, quiet, lots of grip in the wet weather. No idea about snow as I live in the desert.
Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+.....best tires out there in my opinion. The ride is extremely smooth and grip/handling is excellent. Just picked up a front set this week from Tire Rack.
