W221 FRONT SUSPENSION SQUEAK.




Ok the outer tie rod you call the outer part of it. I just call the combination of both part a tie rod.
I don’t think tie rod makes the sound in your film at all.
if your lower control arms are properly torqued and the arm joint cores do not turn with car level changes then the noise must come from a load bearing joint. These would be the lower rearward arms ball joints at the wheel hub or the joints where the strut connects to the control arm.
You said you changed all these parts, but sometimes a brand new part can have a problem.
The outboard ball joint always fails and starts squeaking. If you jack the front wheels up and grab the bottom and rock it along the 12/6 o clock line you will feel movement.
