can someone PLEASE help me at getting the sideview mirrors disassembled! i know, before you say watch some videos..ive watched them all and for some reason, the cover on mine just refuses to detach on the mirror facing side on just one corner..ive broken 3 replacement mirror glass already so im beyond furious =(
id also like to provide some info for other w216 owners..the mounts are different on the w221..everything else is the same.

thank you as well for contributing..yes, ive see this one too, in fact thats what i was trying to do(upgrade the bulb on the bottom) i was only able to get the housing/cover removed on the drivers side after the glass already cracked..same thing happened on the passenger side but the glass cracked before i was even able to get that cover off..anyone have a trick to this without destroying the glass for a 4th time?
these are pictures of the 3 mirrors I’ve pretty much ruined trying to take apart, following all instructions..
unfortunately this procedure is for the old style mirrors on the 09 and before which is different from mine. i watched it anyway just to see if maybe it had something. but i appreciate your help. at this point im going to say that the mirrors on the CL look identical to the S but they are held on differently...
