Can you use Valvoline max life multi vehicle aft and would the harbor freight multi use transfer pump work for filling with adapter?

As lkchris mentioned, the fluid needs to meet M-B specs. The pump is not critical. Are you aware that filling the 7G-Tronic requires achieving operating temperature, and filling to overflow? This is not the same as changing engine oil.

I have used same pump several times in the past on 722.9 and it worked well with proper adapter.
