Secondary Air Injection Pump Issue

Pump runs, valves open, ecu checks that the lambda sensors detect the change.
An error would indicate a problem somewhere in the chain. You say the pump runs - it is fairly straightforward to test this using Star - you can pull off the hose that joins the pump to the valve assembly and you should be able to feel it blowing quite considerably (basically the opposite of a vacuum cleaner sucking).
Next, check for vacuum issues in the two lines that connect the two valves to the solenoid valve. The lines are quite short and easy to access (just remove the air filter housing and lift up the intercooler.
Finally you need to determine if the solenoid valve is operating properly. I think there is a guided test in Star for this.
Finally you need to determine the o2 sensors are also operating correctly.. although if they weren't I would assume you would get other problems so this seems unlikely to me.
The system performs the I/M readiness tests. If unsuccessful (or a certain period of time has passed) it will continue to attempt the retest once certain criteria are met after start-up.
You can disable these diagnostic tests via Star.

Can one trigger the other, and which one?
