High mileage S550
I have a high mileage S550, i bought from the Mercedes dealer for 12k it had 159,000 now has 161,000 its a 2010 , i purchased to go around see the kids at college , well the wheels fell of that one , the car has full service history , apart for a battery draw issue im looking into , the spec was basic , no frillls
it is a fantastic car on the road , but as theres no where really to go, its a shame it just sits on the drive , would you all say the engine at that mileage is coming to the end , or do you see higher mileage than what i have , not sure if to sell or just keep taking it on the chin from my wife for blocking the drive

Mercedes drive trains are pretty reliable if maintained well. If it does not burn oil, I'd say the engine is good for another 50-100K miles.
The tranny, or the 4Matic if applicable, may give you more issues than the engine.
