Interior lights won’t go off

Interior lights won’t go off
My interior lights are draining the battery. Dome lights are doing the following:
1) coming on as if they were turned on the last time I was in the car, not the courtesy light function. They have to be turned off, both front and rear.
2) neither front map light will come on (will occasionally intermittently but completely random)
3) courtesy function seems fine after main light manually turned off.
the doors don’t seem to affect the function nor the trunk.
any suggestions or ideas? Would sure appreciate insight. I suspect the dome light assembly needs to be replaced but other opinion would be appreciated.
