Water in cabin

So over the last few days, we’ve had some terrible rainstorms here (Philly). Twice I went to get in my car (07 s550) to find the driver’s side (only) floorboard filled with water. I did some research and found that the drains need to be cleaned periodically. So I did that this morning (Used a bent wire hanger) and water and debris gushed out from under the fender well. So I guess that’ll do the trick. 🤞🏽🤞🏽
Anyway, I did the passenger side as well. I heard that there are three drains to clean but I only located the two. Am I misinformed?

You need to remove floor under front seat in order to access motor control air flap on B pilar, if water come inside the cabin then this motor very easy to damage if we not get out and dry it properly because it located lowest under floor and easy to sink on the water.

AGAIN!!!

So I’ve cleaned the drains (or so I thought) but I’m still getting water on the driver’s side floor. What else could I be missing? Also, is there supposed to be some sort of rubber plug under the hood where the hood vents are? I just have a hole - no dirt of plug or cover. It’s not on my passenger side or the rear of my car so am I correct in assuming it’s NOT the air conditioner issue?? Maybe the lower sill drain?? I’m open to any suggestions PLEASE.

I just did mine with a jet wash... 2 mins rather than the 3 hours I spent with a hose and a wire (where I ended up with light scratches on the wing).... the jet was did a much better job.... look as clear as new now

Keep working at it. There was a recent E-Class thread on this, have a look in the W212 or W213 section.

Have you cleaned drains for sunroof? there are 04 hoses go along A and C pillar and if they are clogged then water can get into cabin.

For the A pilar, you need to remove a fender above the wheel then the hose is temimated with (+) rubber reef valve at the end, it quite hard to find because it locate in side a hole and you can't take ít out, just reach it by hand and clear the dust.

try to find the hose with rubber reef valve at the end like this:
