2007 S550 W221 Front left wheel noisy for the first 20 mins of driving
After driving for about 20 mins the noise goes completely away. The ride is very smooth and no noise from the left wheel. If I turn the car off for more than about an hour then ill have to drive another 20 mins before the ride is smooth and the noise is gone. I can't figure out what the problem can be. I dont notice any sagging when the car is off or on.. Please help with any advice.

Is this a 4matic or rear drive?
Is this an airmatic or ABC suspension?
Does it only make the noise on rough surfaces, or on smooth also?
I believe it's airmatic because there is an air suspension button on my dashboard. When I press it I notice the car will raise up.
It make a noise on any surface for about the first 20 mins. Smooth surfaces, the noise is more softer. Rough surfaces, the noise is louder.

Next - does the sound happen while standing still, or only while moving? This has a big influence on the possible cause, as it would be engine related, or wheel/suspension related..
Could you describe the sound? Is it a click, or screech, or rattle, or thumping?

Sounds like something that goes away when warm, and only makes noise when the car is moving. That would say it is something to do with motion, like the brakes, or bearings, possibly the sway bar. Maybe a rag stuck in the brake rotor?
A long shot option would be a plastic panel, something with the airmatic suspension, or the engine, possibly a bubble in the tire, or loose wheel. These would likely remain when warm, not go away.
Does it speed up when you speed up, or remain the same frequency?
Does the noise remain the same when gentle braking, or coasting, or accelerating?
What about turning to the left or right?
We'll figure this out eventually.
