differences in night view assist 07 vs 10
Are there any differences in hardware in the night view assist for 2007 and for 2010.
I had night view on my old 2007 S65 and I have it on my current 2010 S65.
On the 07 I never found it very useful. Basically anything I could see I night I could see just looking out the windshield, I would use it but it wasn't really useful.
On my 10 it is a completely different story. I can see a lot more on a dark road on night view than I can even with high beams on.
On the way home from work tonight I glanced down at night view and noticed a Coyote in the grass on the left side of the road about a quarter mile away. I looked up and I could not see him at all for real. I slowed down and as I got up on him he darted across in front of me. I could not see him looking out the windshield until he was in the road. I might have hit him if I did not notice him on nightview.
Anyone else notice such a difference or know if there is a difference in the two systems? I am not talking about the boxes that are supposed to come up around people, I actually haven't seen them work, I am just talking about the picture itself.
