2008 S550 Trunk Malfunction

Greetings:
Everything was working fine until i replaced the Secondary Battery in the Trunk on my 2008 S550, then the Trunk Release doesn’t work, neither any electronic to open/close the Trunk nor even from the Key. The only way i can open is with the Mechanical Key. The rest of electronics in the car seems to work fine but the Trunk. Any help?
Thanks in advance

there's another recent post

disconnecting the battery can't break anything on the boot lid mechanism…. can it break all on its own, sure its a Mercedes, could the wires to the boot lid break of course they do that is a std Mercedes design feature

other boot related electrics ok or ?

No broken wires and i repeat this was working fine before i changed the battery. The Lid’s Lock Button (2nd one) lock the doors but doesn’t close the lid and the 1st button doesn’t close it either. The Trunk release handle doesn’t open either and button on the driver side don’t light up or function.

I (gratefully - don't waste my life fighting the simple easy operation of opening and closing a boot) so not that au fait with the full ins and outs of the powered version. I have battled and wasting my life on other S classes that have it …. I think its air? no doubt the pipes crack and leak and the pumps wear out ? and probably have limit switches

anything here
