Help!!! P0600 and P0705 (Video) - 07 S600

Today as I opened the car door I was met with a red warning light “Door open vehicle not in Park” and when I started the car a red warning “Visit Workshop Without Switching Gears”

A few weeks ago, I had an issue where the car didn’t start on the first try and on the dash it read “Shift to P or N to start” but I simply turned tried again and it started right up.

Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

see video below

When I open the door I get this warning

Once I start the car I get this warning

In addition, check both transmission pin connector @ transmission body & interior module for oil intrusion.

ISM failure

Ended up being the ISM. Indy quoted me $600-900 after I provided both my VIN# and the video via email to the shop manager, then when I towed the car over they ended up charging me $1,300 stating it was a S600.

**Side note**They also attempted to charge me for programming the ISM ($150) but let them know based on their great reviews online I’d have a hard time giving a great review after being told $600 to $900 and later being charged just over $1,500 so they agreed and $1,300 out the door was agreeable.

yup! And the TCM was replaced 3 months ago. So other than a fluid change at some point I would hope all transmission related issues are resolved
