Junk cam cover from Amazon or something else?

Bought the car in August had a oil leak on the cam cover. Replaced cam cover a few days later smelled smoke again noticed it's leaking. Bought another cheap cam cover from a different vendor on Amazon ended up being the same part. Checked it everyday for 2 weeks now it's leaking too. Is the leak the cam cover or is it something else? Where should I buy a good cam cover?

Thinking I need to replace more than just the cover. Spend the $$$ and buy this kit.

Ended up ordering genuine Mercedes vent cover and oil separator from FPC euro. The kit I linked in the previous post may not be for the V8.
