Hello,
my fuel gauge on the cluster of my 2007 Mercedes s550 has started to randomly fluctuate from the actual gas level to empty. When I scan the car with my I carsoft box scanner I get left fuel level sensor has a short. I then googled this and came up with this: A2215401517 New genuine Fuel Gauge Transmitter left Mercedes S Class W221. Can someone tell me where this part is located so I can replace it

It located inside fuel tank and I believed that is located in the left, you can remove a rear left seat cushion, open a cover and try.
note: better to do this job when fuel tank almost emty

Well I replaced the fuel level gauge sensor last weekend and today while driving the fuel level dropped. I scanned the car and the fault code came back to the sensor again.. it was good for a week
