What is this?
Just purchased a 2011 S550. There is recessed LED in the headliner, rear passenger area - what is it's purpose? It does not provide any significant light to the rear seat. Difficult to take a picture so I've attached an uninstalled picture of a similar headliner with the item in question circled. Thanks!!
Here are photos from my 2013 S550 with the panorama roof. It has the LED in question and it shines down directly on the air vents/controls. I have standard rear seats, no rear seat package (no heating, ventilation, massage).
