Power steering whine (S550, Airmatic)

I could always try to get the right size now that I know I want something in the 104mm range. By Mercedes numbers, I don't know if that means I had the 100 or 110. I measured to the outer diameter not the inside of the pulley so maybe I had the 100. It means a 10% underdrive which MAY not be the worst thing in the world. Maybe under extreme conditions slightly worse cooling performance at idle? The variable displacement compressor may totally compensate for all I know. I don't see how I could damage anything spinning it a little slower at least. Might even last longer.....

should save fuel - unless as u say the variable bit compensates - I don't remember the hub looking like that on mine - I messed it up not having the prefect tool - but you get a new one with pulley - it was FT
