help with diagrams
Hello. im having a problem with my ac compressor. Got it diagnose mechanic said the selenoid is bad on the ac compressor. bought a new compressor put it in and same thing now coming on. i have a 2012 s550 base i got all the diagrams but im having a hard time figuring it out if some one knows how to figure them out please let me know. i also have the full car diagram if anyone needs it. I have included photos below i just need to find the wire to the compressor where it comes from and check it. Thank you in advance!

Throw all of those diagrams in the garbage and come back with codes. No one has a clue where to start with you.

My understanding is that the car had been diagnosed, codes read then and pointed to the compressor that was changed but that did not fix the issue. Sometimes codes alone are not perfect. If the compressor valve drive voltage was measured, it would indicate if the drive signal is present. If not present, the problem would be elsewhere, not the new compressor. Simple multimeter measurements are often very useful along with the diagnostic tool. Also fault codes are only a small subset of information from the diagnostics tool. Control unit inputs and outputs can be read and controlled to test different functionality and the plausibility of inputs can be evaluated.
