Changing wheels

Hello,

I need some advice on a wheels and spacers. Currently I have 20 Mercedes Amg wheels. I presume they are 20x8.5 and 20x9. I presently have 15mm spacers on the front of the car and 20mm spacers on the rear. This setup makes the wheels flush to the wheels wells. Now that I am changing wheels I trying to make sure that my spacers will work with the current wheels. If not I want to change the rear wheels spacers as the stock wheels are 20x9 and the new wheels will be 8.5. After one can help me?

Depends on the weather
What is the offset of the current wheels and the offset of the new wheels? You will just need to account for the difference with the spacers unless the offsets are the same.

Your 20" amg wheels are probably 20x8.5 and 20x9.5 if they are staggered.

I don’t know the offset of the Amg wheels as they were in the car when on bought it but the offset for the new wheels is 35.

You can look online for the specs for your current wheels or post a pic and someone may know. I'm guessing they are +43mm F/R and most W221 replica wheels are +35 so they will sit closer to flush. You can look inside the wheel and it has the model number and offset stamped on the inside.

whph,

thank you for all the information. I believe my wheels are replicas. With that say I needed to change the wheels cause the car was boring with the blk/blk. Here is the wheels I am getting. I got a decent deal. $959.00 free shipping.

Yah, for sure the ones on the car must be replicas, because an OEM part would not have spacers. I believe the MB offset is 43.5 for OEM wheels.

Sick! What’s the net offset you’re running on that? Spacers or no spacers? Any rubbing?

The wheels are 20x8.5 with 35 offset all the way around. I am running 12mm spacers on the front and 15mm spacers on the rear. The car is lowered 1.5” and there is no rubbing. The rear you need to remove a small tab where the fender and rear bumper meet so nothing rubs but that’s it.

Thanks man! So from that info it seems like you are at +23 net front and +20 net rear. Looks good bro!
