Body roll with Air matic

I have a 98 Sport 550.4 matic.
I am very impressed with zero body roll when cornering. I almost had to check to make sure I dont have ABC. Also minimal nose dive.
Do the electric struts have any changes happening to them during cornering?

I wish there was a softer setting other than C sometimes. Roads in NYC are not great.

Hey tb.. friendly post here...98 model year, post in correct forum then. If w221, Read manual for c and s controls and all other controls for ride and shifting patterns. Check vin and build sheet to determine the as built configuration. ABC and Airmatic are 2 drastically different suspension systems delivery varies dramatically.

If you have further issues experts are here, not me.

yes, cornering capability is abundant in MB sclass of all vintage.

I was just saying how well the car corners even without ABC.

I have a 2013 model and I have the same experience. It seems the car does not lean at all when making even very fast corners. I don't know how this works but it is just amazing how this heavy car stays flat.
