W221 Flex disc
I believe I’m experiencing some flex disc issues. I haven’t got under the car to see if they are cracked but vibration when getting up to speed on the highway is what I fee underneath the passers side.
Could someone please assist me with the correct part # for rear and front flex discs on S550 4matic 2010...

I just went thru this and most of my vibration went away with engine and transmission mount replacement but some of it remained. The dealer pointed out flex discs having some cracking on them and I had them changed and this seemed to really get rest of vibration go away. The old discs did not look that bad at all though. They had some cracking (dry rot) but it was not bad. I just went by their recommendation. Only negative now is the noise I get that I hope is the center bearing and not the tranny itself. That is in another thread but for vibration the flex discs had something to do with it in my car so as it is the lowest cost (DIY) work to do for vibration troubleshooting replacing them rubber parts in a 10+ years old car is not a bad idea at all.

Thanks! I do know I need engine mounts and need to check if I need transmission mounts as well. Both I know I have to find a shop to do both but am hoping the flex discs are a simply diy.... also I do understand I will need a star kit to take off the flex discs, if so I have to find a set
