So I found bent piston rod
replaced
put EVERYTHING back on
engine doesn’t crack
display on
radio works

question- what do I do to get motor to crank?
lmk your thoughts

its extremely unlikely when you bend a rod that you didn't trash the block (and the crank won't like it either)

AMG motors its normal to snag a rod and trash the engine (its a design feature), animals out there do a cast iron liner mod, that real animals do on one pot only - then clear the car quick smart

what bent the rod nasty map and ragging a stone cold engine (that's the usual driver) or leaking injectors etc.?

I had a mechanic do it
took 2 months little by little

no I don’t have XENTRY
I will look but where can I get a XENTRY?

You need XENTRY, or at least your mechanic does. If the mechanic reassembled the engine, can't get it to start, and doesn't have XENTRY, it's probably time to find a new mechanic.
