I have a 07 S550 and I’m having issues I hope the group can help with, when i come to a stop the car idles high and shakes it will cut off when I come home and go from drive to reverse I will start it back up and when I put it in drive it shut off, my buddy suggested changing the throttle body which I did and same issue I then checked the EGR valves which appear to be working properly my guy looked for leaks found nothing so I don’t know he then suggested maybe I have a bad torque converter but when I looked up signs of bad torque converter my issues don’t fit the symptoms, so before I go to the dealership I am hoping someone can suggest something to try

Report fuel trim behavior. That will reveal whether you are dealing with a vacuum leak type of issue or something else.

what do you actually mean by fuel trim behavior and the car was checked for vacuum leaks none found

Short and long term fuel trims under different conditions. Out of whack fuel trims will at least tend to suggest that you are dealing with a fueling issue and not spark.
