All speaker blown ?
I'm just taken ownership to a 2009 W221 (pre-faceift). There are several smaller issues with the car, and one of them is the speaker system. I don't know if I have a Harman Kardon system. There are no indications on the speaker grills as I've seen on other S-classes.

The issue is that when I turn up tha bass with some volume, it sounds like all speakers are blown. How can I find if this is the situation, or is there a sub-woofer hidden some place that can cause this? Or the amplifier? Other toughts ?

Not Harmon Kardon could be CU (amp) needs replacement for definitive diagnose have someone erase stored codes and do a quick test using Xentry (MB diagnostics).

depends on the tool autel $400 could do it in 2014 but snap on at $5000 still can't !!!!

I'll ask my local garage which has both Star diagnostic and som very expensive Bosh diagnostic tools.

I've now tried both Star diagnostic and Bosch, but the amplifier didn't show any error codes. Is it likely that all speakers have blown?
