Keyless entry on driver door

Keyless entry on driver door
Just picked up my 2007 S550, very excited. Although the keyless entry isn't working on the driver door. Works on all the others. What's the best way to proceed? Is there a DIY diagnosis process? I'm quite happy to get in there by myself and take things apart, repair, replace, etc.
