MB W221 S320 CDI DPF/EGR/Flaps off OM642
Hi, everyone!
Today i just wanna take off from the software all 3 things(dpf, egr and flaps).
I have some questions about. I have done this before to my old car but was another brand.
For the DPF i know what should i do mechanically and all the things.
For the another 2 things from the software is really easy but my question is should i do something mechanical for the flaps and egr? Or should i just take the cable off from both of them.

these are so complex with so many interlinked systems that have a finger in the pie of so much - would be best not to bother trying - you can work around the issue and even remove much of the devices you speak about - using nothing more than a few resistors connected to the looms and the car software won't know any better and the diagnostics won't have a melt down either
swirl flaps 4.7 k ohm metal film resistor on middle two of four pins - I believe much the same on the EGR - DPF I would expect hell on earth unless you have XENTRY and some knowledge
you should NOT be allowed to disable all these - quite literally driving a tractor means the filth coming out the back without them is MURDER

where are you based in the UK and I expect sensible parts of Europe you will not get an annual roaworthyness test without them all behaving - quite rightly they are getting very nasty with criminals that mess about with these death machines !!!
