upgraded my 2004 S500 and Purchased new to me 2010 S550 and have “check cornering light right side” message on cluster. I haven’t pulled her apart to check wiring but if it is just the bulb all the intel I gathered from YouTube and other forums is the entire assembly must be replaced as the bulb is unserviceable? Is this true? I don’t need them can I deactivate to clear massage out forever?
this seams crazy Mercedes would do this as assembly is like $800 plus to replace.
any info or help is appreciated.

I believe you should be able to replace the cornering bulb through the wheel well. I can confirm it is replaceable on my 2010 CL550, which is a very similar car.. sorry I can’t say for certain but it would be worth a try
Thanks, I pulled the headlight out by dropping bumper…it was out of alignment so 2 birds 1 stone. Removed both side assemblies and swapped out modules and problem still on right side- stupid me should have plugged entire left assembly into right side and seen if it worked as plugs are the same. The hardest part of Mercedes is the dam plugs are so tight and push clips to release so small, anyway I will try again tomorrow as second disassembly should be much faster…learning curve done. I saw no service hole to get to cornering bulb unless it’s thru the module wiring hole…need to investigate some more - ran out of time.
Confirmed bulb not serviceable. Anyway to emulate bulb to fool canbus to not throw message? If so does anyone have wiring diagram of lights insides for facelifted model? 🙏 thanks
calling around to indies in south Florida today to shut feature off - I am to OCD with car to have any warning messages. Also if anyone has recommendations for indie in south Florida then please advise.

Hmmm, after this post all those items went missing? Just kidding and have a harbor freight 10 mi away- some tools are great and other are crap but they have very good prices plus I am old school and like to see what I am buying - been fooled buy Amazon/EBay too many times.

I have an original launch ODB scanner from before they started locking them. I'm using X431 dealer level software for different cars. I actually got my scanner from Amazon many many years ago.
