Static crackle, Sound System HELP Needed!

Static crackle, Sound System HELP Needed!

Just got a 2008 S550 With Harmon Kardon sound system. I hear a bit of weird very low volume crackling in sound system, more like static clicks, not sure what it could be and happens on ALL audio sources. Also, when this static noise happens, the mouse the COMAND wheel function is erratic when trying to control Audio portion, the selection keeps jumping from one to another, and i cant even change basic functions such as air conditioning which is annoying.

Any clues where i should start? Is it an amplifier issue?
