2010 Mercedes-Benz S Class S350 front passenger seat belt not releasing
Front passenger seat belt not working, the belt is stuck and cannot be released to secure the passenger. Has anyone of you guys encountered this problem, does anyone know what to do to fix this problem and or how to remove the belt system, I would appreciate your help.

Actually it happened on my Corvette but not on my Mercedes. The driver seat belt was jammed. Pulling on the belt to extend it would not generate enough force to release it. I took it to my Corvette Shop and he showed me how the edge of the seat belt was tattered and left threads that jammed in the mechanism. He didn't use force which is what I tried unsuccessfully. What he did was pull in a rocking motion both back and forth but also side to side. It released after twenty seconds of the rocking gentle pull. Once it released, he used a very sharp scissors to trim the loose threads. Has not been a problem since. Give it a try and report back. Good luck.
