Unable to locate top tether anchorage W221 2010 Facelift
Hi folks,
I recently purchased W221 year 2010 with designo edition interior and electrically adjustable headrests at rear seats.
I would like to install child seat for my children. I did locate the bottom isofix hooks, but unfortunately I can’t locate the top tether anchorage point. The car owner’s manual is guiding me to lift the headrests and the anchorage should be below a cap, but there is no cap at all.
The car interior is Designo edition with electrically adjustable rear seats. Can you please help me locate the top anchorage?

the bolts on the car body will exist (if it has that on the chassis as u suggest), but I can imagine the trim is likely different if it has the electric rear seat option and maybe these ones aren't meant to have the child seat
the model number is really 6 numbers not just 221 ( it would be great if people said what car they really have on any Merc forums

Thank you for your reply. Sorry, I forgot to give details about the model I have. It’s 221.186, S500.
I’ve check my vehicle specs sheet and I can confirm it does have option 573 (Child seat mounting, isofix in rear). That’s why I’m a bit surprised it does not have top tether anchorage.
