Sunroof switch button replacement options?

The switch button on my 2007 is loose making it hard to operate the roof. Mercedes doesn't sell the button or even the switch. Do these on Ebay fit? https://www.ebay.com/itm/404862229234? Any online video on how to replace?
The Part Number for this is Map Lamp is '216 870 5726 9G 95" (*Last 4 digits are color code but all colors pop up when searched)
So, I called Mercedes to see what I could do about this, my switch just fell off as I was opening the sunroof one day - they do not sell just the switch, of course, only a $1,300 Map Lamp. Of course no one with a sane mind would pay that much for it, so I went on eBay and found one for $190... kinda overpriced but whatever. (I think I can tear down the rest of my broken map lamp and sell the parts to make up for the cost of the new one) Hopefully it will be easy to take out to put the new assembly in, I'm assuming it won't be to crazy since usually the interior parts come apart simply, not willingly though, but they eventually do cooperate.
Good luck to anyone trying to find a black one like me, I guess that was not common.... I ended up ordering one for an S65, it has Alcantara over the sunglasses holder, but I'll swap that part out with my pedestrian cloth covered sunglasses holder to match the rest of the car.
Have fun!
the sunroof switch might even be unused - I can't for the life of me understand why any manufacturer fits them - I don't ever want 100kg of complex, creaking, leaking rubbish above my head reducing the structural integrity of the body shell. And that's before we discuss a loss of headroom, blocked drains and on some cars, extra wind-noise
my last 3 cars have had it and in those 24 years I have never once driven even half a mile with that rubbish being the bigger nuisance it can be - when mine is scrapped my switch will be a good choice for people who over worked theirs

At least yours was easy to fix!

I do understand that of course every piece of the car can't be made out of metal, it would be far too heavy. But the things that move and stuff that you interact with should not break under light use, and should feel nice to operate. Like the Steering wheel, its covered in wood & leather (in my car) and its great, the turn signal stock is also out of a C-Class from 2000BC, but it is what it is....
Unfortunately the car is just so darn good in other ways that I put up with it. Its kind of like a spoiled child, constantly causing problems and demanding more money.
he said tell you what delete that crap or shove it up your ****.... so it took 5 months to get a real car - all the rest have that trash as std now

This has turned into a very VERY annoying process, but should I be surprised? lol.
The replacement part I ordered was from an S65, or maybe an S400, either way, it was not an S550 like mine. When it came in I noticed that the part # had two numbers different than the part I took off the car, but I figured it would be fine (BAD IDEA). After installing this part all the ambient lighting in the car would not turn on, and apparently, my car has Mercedes Logo puddle lamps when the door is open (Idk if it's stock) but when I put the new part in they all of a sudden turned on. The sunroof switch did work, however, I can't leave the car with no ambient lights and it is all funky.
So I went back to searching what feels like the entire internet for another one, this part I found does specifically state that it's from an S550, although the last 4 of the part # are different. Hopefully, this one works as there are none that are an exact match, I have a bad feeling this is going to end up in me having to get the 200% marked-up one from MB as I can't find an exact match used. I may also try going to a salvage yard but they are all many hrs away from where I live.
If anyone sees an exact match to the part # "A 216 870 5726 9G95" let me know.....

its not the first time I've heard fun on the sunroof switch - posts years back say it has to be coded to the car... AKA complex over priced dealer stupidity
the roof module (which the switch plugs into) is particularly crazy on these cars and a right funny one to work with - can't code with engine running, can't software update with the key on
there is a reason its almost mandatory to be in the BenzNinja club if you have a 221

What's interesting is I actually put the original "Brains" (the computer junk) into the used part I got with the working switch, and then the sunroof would only tilt open opposite of your button input. Like I said I did order a new "used" part that specifically says it's from a 550, I'm praying this stupid thing works.
