seat bolster while cornering stopped working

It's a great feature to have. When you corner take a corner sharply, the seat bolsters inflate and hold your body better in the seat. This feature suddenly stopped in my car. Is there a function that turns this feature on and off? I played around with the COMAND and can't find it.

You must have gone thru the menu in COMAND screen, right? There you turn this on/off.

Do all other seat functions work?

In what part/section of the COMAND screen? I didn't see anything for it going through the seat section of the COMAND screen.

buttons beside the comand knob, press seat button go to massage settings then slide or rotate knob to the "Driv, dyn seat"

go in there select "break my seats", (for a slightly irritating nudge way after the corner already happened)

When I go to the Driv Dyn Seat setting, the only options are 0, 1, and 2. The is no description as to what those three settings do. And that always resets to 0 upon restarting the car. I miss this feature, appreciate any help.

try massage - sometime it has a temper tantrum and fails to work, and asking questions of the seat can wake it up. If massage is doing the 0 only, and thus not working either - the module might be having one of its regular temper tantrums OR quite likely an air line has cracked - or worse a bag has popped (and the pump is refusing to behave due to air loss)

personally I prefer to keeps the seat sides about right and never use the dynamic feature - at this age its quite a risk hoping the dynamic feature will keep going forever

there's a long thread on air leaks - https://mbworld.org/forums/s-class-w...g-fixed-b.html

The Air blatters in my seats work, if they are in the mood. It's kinda of like a fun surprise when you get in the car, maybe you can get a massage, or not.

I do get a code for the seats when scanning the car but tbh it's really not worth looking into. Maybe if the car was a 2016 (as they work much better in those cars) but even when the seat's air bladders work, it's not super effective, nice, but not worth fixing.

In looking through the service history on my recently acquired W221, I came across a repair order in which this complaint was addressed.

You have a pneumatic leak. The lines are 10yrs old and brittle. Leak detection is your friend. I've got all the vinyl tubing I need to completely replace all pneumatic lines in mine. Someday I'll get to it.

Just for the record, the lines were not replaced in mine when the prior owner had the work done and the functions still work well.
