Mercedes dtc 9230

Hi, I have a weird fault code in my rear sam ,Code 9230 (The input for the analog crash signal has short circuit to positive).
My car is a W216 2007 CL500, The fault appeared after a valet but may not be related. There are no other faults in any modules including the air bag unit.
I did some messing earlier with the coding of the HU and rear sam when I fitted a camera. That was weeks ago and I tested a few times since with no fault showing. I cant find any info on line and the car is working perfectly.
I am using Xentry 2014.
Any ideas or help apricated.
Regards,
Pat.
I have solved this fault. The cure may help someone else. After examining the circuit diagram the only connection from the rear sam which might relate to "Crash signal" was pin 32 of socket 19 which showed as connecting to unit N2/7 (the restraint module). This connection did not exist in my car (even the pin was not in the socket). On checking the pcb. there was a vacant solder pad for a resistor connected to this pin number 32. After some testing fitting a 1k ohm resistor here to ground solved this fake code. I assume the firmware upgrade showed the problem up.
My car is one of the earliest registered in January 2007 so this is no surprise. (still only 65k miles).
I am involved in electronics.
Regards.
Pat.
